New York bar admitted attorney with 4-7 years experience for full time position in insurance defense firm in downtown Manhattan. Mu! st have a minimum of four years (over the past 5 years) experience conducting depositions or 50-h hearings representing defendants in personal injury cases. Must be knowledgeable in the representation of clients in the defense of trip and fall and auto accident cases.
Prior 50-h or EUO experience a plus. Plaintiff attorneys should not apply.
Primary job responsibility will be to conduct 50-h hearings on a daily basis and draft same day evaluation reports or hearing summaries.
Other insurance defense and or subrogation cases will be assigned as well as court appearance work, client reporting, motion practice and general litigation and collection responsibilites.
