JP Morgan Chase is currently looking for an experienced project manager professional to ! join their Legal Department
This is a Vice President level position that would be responsible for coordinating Mortgage Backed Securities ("MBS") discovery activities specifically relating to loan files.
This person would help create accountability and measure vendor performance by defining and tracking metrics and deliverables and following up with project managers on ETAs and discovery items relating to Residential Mortgage loan files, Mortgage Banking applications/systems, and attorney review of such loan files.
This person would:
Ensure that requests were properly submitted to the technology teams, escalating issues where appropriate,
Communicate deadlines and work with the technology teams to collect and deliver the data to outside vendors,
Work with the vendors and technology teams to ensure completeness,
Liaise with and facilitate discussions between the vendors and counsel for the proper review and pro! duction of such data.
This person would also be a key! representative of the Evidence Lab at meetings and on conference calls relating to the MBS matters
Qualifications
5-7 years of PMO experience with particular emphasis on tracking data
Bachelor's degree
PMP certification is highly desirable
Highly organized and effective communicator
Legal exposure or experience is a plus
E-Discovery, litigation, or law firm related experience highly preferred
