Description:
The Legal and Compliance Division of this leading financial institution is seeking a paralegal within the Global Compliance Group.
Responsibilities:
Obtain assistance with: preparing and posting weekly regulatory updates memoranda (through which the Policies and Procedures/Regulatory Counsel group tracks and disseminates regulatory developments affecting ISG Americas, including Dodd Frank).
Inputting compliance manual edits into Complinet (Accelus).
Sending reminders to policy owners regarding policies coming due on the two-year list and entering any resulting feedback in the group's master two-year list
Conducting searches for policies and procedures on the LCD Portal and Complinet; gathering policies and procedures in response to litigation/regulatory document requests; and updating and maintaining the group's share drive folders.
Assist with completing an ongoing project to reference va! rious free-standing compliance notices and policies in existin! g manuals and desk annexes.
Three years of related paralegal experience. Pay rate to be determined based on experience. This position is expected to run 3-4 months with a possible extension.
