Primary Objective(s)

The Account Executive- Midsize Firms is responsible for selling
Practical Law products to the legal community within their assigned territory.
Individual leverages his/her expert knowledge and professional demeanor to
effectively manage company relationships, while c! apitalizing on opportunities
within their accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Establish trusted relationships: Call on the senior attorneys
at law firms, leveraging sales skills and excellent business skills

Adopt value based approach: Demonstrate the value of
the products to prospective decision-makers through informed conversations
about law firm competitive intelligence needs, efficiency, strategic
planning and growth expectations.

Drive sales in assigned territory: Attain assigned
pipeline target and sales quotas. Complete Reporting: Submit sales
forecasting and performance reports on a regular basis.

Investigates customer needs in order to build a
comprehensive understanding of issues/concerns; Uses effective
relationship building skills as a strategy for dealing with customers; is
focused on the big picture and business perspective when making decisions
and taking action.
Demonstrates excellent ability to identify alternatives
to penetrate an account deeper, wider and farther; creates bundled product
packages to meet client needs.

Demonstrates high level of professional qualities and
disposition that commands attention and respect from C-Level executives at
law firms; adapts smoothly to changing requirements and politicized
issues.

Uses appropriate interpersonal styles to consistently
build trust and confidence with users, key contacts, managers and
executives at PLC's customer sites; communicates and interacts effectively
with internal team members including Inside Sales, Account Managers,
Regional management, and Account Executives to create high performing
collaborative teams.

Exhibits a deep knowledge of all products as well as
the legal profession: Relishes on-going, self-initiated learning;
assimilates new information quickly; welcomes feedback an! d applies
knowledge to practical use on the job.

Attains s! ales targets and quotas on a monthly basis

Demonstrates the use of Large Law products to the
customer

Obtains and provides territory information regarding
market intelligence and penetration

Partner with internal team members such as inside
sales, Account Managers and Product/Sales Specialists to achieve revenue
goals and find ne w sales opportunities.

Attends sales meetings and conventions as required

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelors Degree, JD Preferred.

Minimum 3 years of direct field sales experience,
preferable in a consultative role such as software or professional
services, business-to-business environment, with track record of exceeding
quota.

Understanding of the legal market and legal industry as
a whole is desirable.

Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and
techniques.

Good prospecting and networking skills

Self-motivated, takes initiatives to learn of new sales
opportunities/products, and manages time productively.

Strong oral/written communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office

Experience with software technologies

Experience at use of CRM or contact management systems
