Major AmLaw 100 law firm seeks an M&A attorney for a full-time associate position in their New York City office,three plus years experience, for their growing and thriving M&A law pract! ice. Firm is looking for an attorney with significant deal experience representing private equity firms and others in a wide variety of M&A transactions, including "going private" and consortium (club) deals, and acquisition of divisions/subsidiaries and privately-held businesses.
The candidate should demonstrate strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, and have experience acting in a leading role in advising clients, in addition to working closely with specialists (e.g. tax, environmental,benefits) on transactions.
International and Spanish language skills are a plus though not a requirement for consideration. The firm wants someone out of a peer law firm with solid M&A experience and a superior academic record.
