Director of Regulatory Compliance

Position Summary : Reporting to the VP for Clinical Affairs, the Director of Regulatory Compliance responsibility is to insure that all operations are consistent with objectives, phi! losophy, standards and policies of the Institute for Family Health, as well as regulatory agency standards and federal and state regulations regarding health operations; Director plans, directs, implements, and monitors compliance with regulatory agencies for clinical operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparation of reports on regulatory compliance of Clinical Operations for submission to regulatory agencies, evaluate incident reports for clarity accuracy and completeness for reporting to regulatory agencies and insurance to committees (CQI, EOC, CDG, Board). The Regulatory Compliance Director provides support to Sr. Vice President of Administration and others on review and monitoring of lawsuits, subpoena’s, summons, and R.O.I requests from courts, attorneys, insurance companies, patients, families, and others.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Minimum 3 ! years experience working in regulatory compliance/nursing or o! ther relevant experience. Two years of experience in reviewing and complying with regulations as well as educating staff on regulatory compliance; knowledge in infection control, HIPPA, OSHA, JCAHO, article 28 and 31; proficiency with computers including Microsoft and Windows Applications.
