Staff Attorney - Family Law and Domestic Violence The candidate will be responsible primarily for litigating family law cases primarily in Brooklyn Fami! ly, Supreme and Integrated Domestic Violence courts. Additional responsibilities include client outreach and intake, developing litigation, legislative and policy advocacy, strict adherence to grant requirements, and working closely with community partners. J.D. degree is required.
Should preferably have 2-4 years of family law experience. Must have a demonstrated commitment to public interest law and/or domestic violence advocacy and strong interests in litigation and working with clients. Language skills, particularly Spanish, are strongly preferred.
