Sales Director, Strategic Accounts

We are seeking a charismatic leader with a strong desire to contribute directly to the growth of several business units. Your entrepreneurial drive, strong interpersonal skills and vision will be crucial as we will rely on you to sustain significant responsibility for our growth in the area of post law school sales.

Primary Responsibilities:
Identify and build new institutional accounts to meet annual revenue targets in assigned region(s)
Develop and manage relationships with the key decision makers at major law firms and corporations (both current and prospective customers)
Build key relationship by presenting value propositions that address customer needs while achieving profitable sales objectives
Prepare and participate in all presentations and negotiations to manage and develop key! accounts
Understand, through industry research and data m! ining, any competitive advantages and develop strategies to address issues
Analyze market trends in order to position targeted client offerings
Demonstrate value across product offerings
Formulate optimal pricing strategies
Work closely with all departments within the organization to deliver the best solutions for customer success
Proactively assess, clarify and validate the customers needs on an ongoing basis
Achieve assigned revenue and profitability objectives at assigned accounts
Structure alliances with marketing partners

Oral communicationâ€"the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
Written Communicationâ€"the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written info! rmation
Financial Acumenâ€"the individual possesses a fundamental knowledge of financial reporting such as a P & L statement
Planning/organizingâ€"the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. An ability to think ahead and plan accordingly; excellent time management skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Quality controlâ€"the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
Adaptabilityâ€"the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Dependabilityâ€"the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
Initiative â€" Ability to handle key issues without direction; operates independently with minimal supervision
Proven,! effective negotiation skills

Qualifications:
Bache! lors Degree in Business required, Juris Doctor preferred
Passed a Bar Exam
1+ years of experience selling B2B in a high paced, competitive environment highly preferred
2+ years of management experience preferred but not required
Willing to travel extensively, as needed, in the assigned states
Outstanding presentation and speaking skills
Proven experience in public speaking is a plus
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Ability to work well in groups and across functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present recommendations and plans to senior management and key customer representatives with poise and professional effectiveness
