Some of your responsibilities in the Director role over an 18 month to 24 month period will include :
Business development, including research, create target lists, cold-call prospective clients, cultivate client relationships, maintain database records, and schedule client meetings with senior in-house recruiters. Develop search/candidate criteria and perform research utilizing various proprietary, legal and internet sources, to identify qualified candidates. Initiate contact with targeted candidates - known in our business as cold and warm calling. Conduct preliminary screening interviews of candidates. Schedule candidate interviews. Assist in managing candidate activity through the search process. Prepare draft presentation write-ups of candidates. Together with senior recruiter, meet with clients; prepare drafts of position descripti! ons, reports and other documents.

BA/BS and JD degrees are required.
2 to 5+ years experience working in a large law firm, in-house law department, executive or legal recruiting firm.
1 to 2+ years inside or outside sales experience ideally focused in legal services.
Excellent research experience and skills.
Proven project management experience and strong organizational abilities.
Able to present a confident demeanor, a broad perspective and have the ability to listen.
Willingness to reach out to candidates and clients via both cold and warm calling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding writing skills.
High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation is a base salary while you learn the business, with the opportunity to earn bonus/commission after an initial period, and with strong performance.
