Position Details:

Our firm is looking for an exceptional pre-MBA Sourcing Analyst with at least 2 years of experience to join its team. Prior analytical experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Distressed Investing, Sales and Trading, or Business Development (financially focused) is strictly required. Please do not apply if your credentials do not include one of the aforementioned roles.!
Candidate must possess exceptional communication and! analytical skills as well as a degree from a top tier college or university maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA. Candidates must be detail and process oriented, highly organized, possess superior communication skills, and be extroverted and fearless in approaching new investment opportunities.
Working closely with other members of the team, the individual will primarily be responsible for investment/deal sourcing by analyzing and proactively reaching out to public company CEO’s and intermediaries (bankers, lawyers, accountants, consultants, etc.), with a secondary focus on financial modeling, assisting with due diligence on pending transactions, and assisting portfolio company corporate initiatives.

As a Sourcing Analyst you will source, qualify, and engage deal opportunities! through a combination of calling senior executives, internet research, data profiling and most importantly, lead generation. More than simply generating leads, you will engage with our investment staff to help them move the opportunities you identify forward in the investment cycle.

Financial Services Background(s): Candidates must possess a strong record of academic achievement at the undergraduate level from a leading university with previous work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Distressed Investing, Sales and Trading, or financially oriented Business Development. Prior di! rect deal sourcing experience is a huge plus. Candidates must have demo! nstrated leadership skills with minimum 3.5 GPA. The analyst role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, competitive self-starter who is outgoing, charismatic, and analytical.
Success in the position requires an ideal combination of strategic thinking, financial analysis, with an emphasis on a sales-oriented mentality.
