Prominent financial services firm located Downtown seeks a Paralegal Specialist with strong derivatives and securities experience . The successful candidate will present with 4+ years of experience at a major financial institution supporting ISDA and/or securities negotiations lawyers, and solid knowledge of derivatives.
Responsibilities:
Working with legal investment lawyers, review transactions involving portfolio securities and derivatives for clients (i.e., derivative transactions, private placements, 144A transactions and structured notes).
Working with portfolio and back office personnel on brokerage and counterparty matters including review of confirmations, help draft ISDA and constituent agreements, handle on-going administrative duties and support OTC confirmation operations.
Assisting lawyers with review of various investment-related contractual documents, including fund securities lending arrangements, leveraged loan facilities, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and licensing arrangements.
Drafting the minutes of meetings to internal operating committees.
Requirements:
4 + years of experience in derivatives operations or an in-house legal department supporting derivatives and/or investments at a major financial services company
Experience with ISDA Agreements
Undergraduate degree
