We are seeking an Applications Manager for our New York office. The position is located at 125 Broad Street, New York, NY 10004. We seek candidates that are self-motivated, intelligent and team-oriented.Responsibilities:•Responsible for the implementation, management and operation of enterprise applications for a firm of 800 attorneys based in New York. This includes Sharepoint, Open Text Document Management DM5, Office 2007, all application\web programming and SQL server relational database systems firm wide.•The Applications Manager manages programming, development and support for all firm applications.
Including working closely with user support, network operations and desktop staffs on application related projects as well as with the Finance department on financial system issues, cost recovery systems and application requests. •Aware of new and emerging technologies and methodologies and provide recommendations of new tools to benefit the legal staff and user support department. •Provide a strategic vision for application development for the firm. •Make suggestions for migrating legacy applications and data into newer platforms and virtual environments.•Support current Windows 7 and Citrix Xen thin client systems applications and desktops•Maintain performance, integrity and quality of the firm’s enterprise applications and databases.•Support of the firm’s administrative and legal department applications.•Responsible for installations, updates and upgrades to current systems•Track all application related service call tickets.•Manage all programming projects using VB, Web, Dot.Net, SQL and Sharepoint.•Perform QC testing of all applications prior to deployment.•Monitor performance of all firm applications and relational database systems.If you have the desire to work in one of the leading law firms, click here to apply.
