Event Coordinator
Amalfi Cucina Italiana specializes in weddings, corporate events, private parties, and other special events. We are a small but growing company located in San Marcos, CA. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Event Coordinator.
Job Summary:
The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of an event including, but not limited to: venue selection, venue management, food and beverage set-up and take-down, guest services, equipment, etc. This position requires the individual to be organized, flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the management team to ensure that each event runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of an event for a smooth start.
- Coordinate menu selection with kitchen .
- Manage all aspects of the event from food and beverage set-up and take down.
- Coordinate with the Manager on all event details.
- Ensure that all event attendees are well-informed about the event details.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies in regards to safety, security, cleanliness, etc. at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Managers or owners.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- San Marcos, CA 92078: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
