Department Overview:
OHSU is Oregon’s only public academic health center. We are a system of hospitals and clinics across Oregon and southwest Washington. We are an institution of higher learning, with schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry and public health – and with a network of campuses and partners throughout Oregon. We are a national research hub, with thousands of scientists developing lifesaving therapies and deeper understanding. We are a statewide economic engine and Portland’s largest employer. And as a public organization, we provide services for the most vulnerable Oregonians, and outreach to improve health in communities across the state.
Function/Duties of Position:
  • Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist. May also include some basic data entry, reward fulfillment and report generation
Required Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours)
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience using computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience working in an office setting
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Adobe Acrobat and working knowledge of office equipment (scanners and copy machines)
Additional Details:
  • Work Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 – 25 hours/week
  • Location: Portland, OR (Marquam Hill)
