As part of the Global Business Consulting organization, Travel Program Management (TPM) practice line is one of the fastest growing organizations within that group, aiming to provide value by executing strategic and operational travel management on behalf of our customers.
This position of a Travel Program Specialist (TPS) within the TPM practice line will be responsible for providing extensive travel operational and stakeholder management through the following activities:

Program optimization: finding new areas for potential improvements on service and savings with a strong interest on payment reconciliation, optimization programs, and travel program tools.- Innovation: Present and implement innovative solutions that support the customer’s overall business objectives.
- Employee engagement and education: Lead regional / local sessions to promote successful understanding of the program, supporting improved compliance, satisfaction, and / or costs savings through effective program use.
- Communication: Coordinate and lead communications, progress, consistencies, and best practices relative to the travel program management engagement.
- Execution: Be responsible for actions, targets and goals as outlined in the agreed-upon Statement of Work (SOW) and be able to provide regular and detailed communication on progress against performance targets.
- Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as a focal point for relevant commodities to establish customer requirements and providing regular reports to applicable stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have:
- In-depth experience in business travel, experience in card/payment solutions a plus
- Understanding of travel data and overall travel related processes with ability to analyze spend and trends
- Excellent technical skills on travel related technology such as online booking systems and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills, commitment to quality, adaptability, change management, self-motivation and team work skills required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates personal excellence by showing personal determination and resilience and is optimistic in changing circumstances.
- Fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage
- Must be able to demonstrate measurable results.
- Previous experience working in a global environment is a plus
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and good time management skills
- Ability to manage up and set expectations to manage work flow and expected ETA’s
Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
