POSITION SUMMARYSpecializing in large and small scale events production and campaign management. Director of Event Production needs the following attributes: strong project management skills, collaborative nature, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. The Director of Operations will be held accountable to deliver on all logistical, event organizing, and staffing needs of each event to ensure optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role needs to have an eye for safety and organization, with strong communication and leadership capabilities. When the teams are working within the event spaces the Director of Event Productions should be teaching, leading, and communicating ways to improve process and use of the space.
This is a full-time position which requires nights and weekends to regularly oversee, support and improve operational needs. This position is primarily based in San Francisco with moderate travel to our events as needed throughout the Bay Area.
HOW THIS ROLE RELATES TO THE SUCCESS OF OTG
The DEO is responsible for excellence in execution across OTGs portfolio of event operations (public markets and catering) in the regional Bay Area inclusive of: financial performance, on-site brand experience execution, defect reduction and iteration, staffing and training, and growth planning.
KEY OUTCOMES
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Plan, organize and train in order to execute our events in a way that delivers on our values, continuously reduces defects and maximizes the value of each event for OTG; resulting in us meeting our quarterly and annual goals.
- Build scalable systems for effective and incremental improvements surrounding training, event operations and post event feedback to drive incremental improvements against guest and customer feedback.
- Curate and program our event opportunities to maximize customer and partner value based on defined and measured metrics.
- Execute an aligned vision of OTG brand values across our public markets and catering in a quantifiable way that produces excellent customer outcomes.
