ROLE SUMMARY

The Escalation and Projects Lead is responsible for leading Pfizer’s Escalations and Product Refunds programs. Specifically, this stakeholder-facing role requires managing activities to ensure effective programs and processes are in place to address all stakeholder (HCPs, Patients, Pharmacists, et al) escalations in a timely and satisfactory manner.


In addition to leading the Escalation and Product Refunds Programs, this role will play an important role to support departmental projects to advance awareness, utilization and also manage associated costs of digital investments that have been made, inclusive of supporting global budgeting activities.


This role supports the Digital Channel Enablement (DCE) Global Integration Lead, part of the global DCE COE.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


Escalations and Product Refunds Programs


  • Lead Pfizer’s Escalations and Product Refunds programs to ensure a consistent process and stakeholder experience is maintained, and that all Escalations are processed timely.

  • Establish and maintain key performance measures to evaluate operational effe ctiveness of third party vendors used to support both programs, including adherence to all applicable internal legal, compliance and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring resources are available and trained to support both programs and that standard processes are adhered to.

  • Liaise directly with stakeholders on behalf of Pfizer for issue resolution (including patients, Better Business Bureau, and State General Attorneys, et al)
  • Lead all internal corporate Pfizer audits and any remediation that may be identified on behalf of DCE, including but not limited to, Global Compliance processes and controls

  • Establish effective partnerships across the Pfizer organization and levels of management, from groups including: Corporate Communications, Legal, Compliance, Commercial Business Units to effectively manage issue resolution as needed and ensure response templates are updated timely.
  • Instill a cultur e of accountability by setting clear expectations across both programs, and ability to measure impact of results

Projects Lead


  • Drive collaboration across DCE and key functional groups across Strat Co, Finance, and Business Technology to advance key initiatives as needed

  • Provide ongoing support of digital projects, which includes:
    • Project initiation into Ariba and expense coding review
    • Ad hoc invoice issue resolution
    • Leverage data analytics to help measure project impact, and drive decision making
    • Monthly actual spend vs. budget analysis and reporting
    • Partnering across Strat Co, the commercial BUs and BT to support budget transfers, cross-chargers, and other budget-related activities
    • Periodic reporting and presentations on financial performance and statistics on project status and related resources

  • Participate and lead key aspects of the Operating Plan process for the COE. Key accountabilities include:
    • Implementing and maintaining effective processes to support the development of the Operating Plan and related presentations
    • Ongoing oversight of the service catalogue and demand questionnaires

  • Support the DCE Global Integration Lead as needed on projects and activities to help advance department goals


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of work experience within pharmaceutical industry;
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry and our stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills; able to respond with professionalism in verbal as well as written communications
  • Demonstrated financial acumen of project management
  • Flexible and agile: able to solicit, receive and integrate feedback from diverse stakeholders
  • Comfortable dev eloping slides and presenting directly to senior leaders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of work experience within reporting and/or compliance areas
  • Direct experience managing third party agencies a plus
  • Proven ability of developing collaborative relationships with key multi-cultural stakeholders and working with virtual teams across multiple countries to help influence change
  • Able to manage through situational ambiguity, acting independently or in collaboration with other stakeholders as appropriate
