Associate Attorney (Entry-Level) - 1 year of experience or Newly Admitted
We are looking for a newly-admitted attorney to join our firm's civil litigation practice. The ideal candidate is one who has superior legal research skills, experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, has strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to various areas of law (including civil litigation ), an assorted range of regulatory authorities, as well as internal administrative matters.

Required Skills & Experience:
Must be currently admitted or awaiting admission to practice law in NY or NJ (multiple-state admission is a big PLUS)
Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus
Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with senior management and employees of all levels throughout the organization
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
Assisting the firm's senior attorneys in supervising a heavy & diversified client base.
Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
Communicating with the firm's clients as well as opposing parties
Research with regard to simple and complex legal, ethical, and regulatory matters.
Assisting the firm's senior attorneys in supervising various duties delegated to legal & non-legal staff.
