Associate Attorney- Intellectual Property sought by The New York office of Jones Day, a global law firm w/approx. 40 offices, to prep & prosecute pharmaceutical & biotechnological patent applics before US Patent & Trademark Office. Must be licensed to practice law in NY & be registered to practice before the USPTO. Must have JD & Ph.D in Chemistry. Must have 3 yrs industry exp in medicinal chemistry, & 3 yrs exp in patent prosecution (US & foreign) in pharmaceutical & biotechnological areas & in the translation of techn! ically complex scientific issues into clearly understandable l! anguage for attorneys & patent examiners.
