About the companyMy client (Am Law Top 50) is a medium sized law firm (400 attorneys) with locations throughout the United States seeking a dynamic, hands-on Billing Manager, able to manage ten direct reports across the US and work with multiple legal constituencies.
Job Description
The Billing Manager will perform the following function:
•Organize and lead billing assistants and coordinators (10 in total, each under their own practice group), ensuring that the team operates as a cohesive unit.
•Train new starters
•Oversee the billing process from start to fini! sh
•Submit and coordinate complex client invoices/e-bills! /paper bills
•Manage time processing and special billing arrangements
•Other projects as assigned by the Director of Finance, Executive Director
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for the Billing Manager role will have the following skill set:
•Previous supervisory/training experience for at least two years
•Comprehensive billing within legal for at least 5 to 10 years
What's on offer
A competitive base salary circa $150,000 is on offer for the Billing Manager role. Note that the position is exempt but does include a very generous benefits, vacation, and bonus package. N.B. Candidates without previous leadership experience within a top Am Law Firm are discouraged from applying.
