Job Description:
(Responsibilities)

This position predominantly focuses on litigation of a broad range of matters in both state and federal court, including negligence, product liability, construction, employment and collection. Attorney will provide counsel and advice and directly represent the company in litigated matters. The successful candidate will have lead responsibility on those matters with limited supervision or direction.

Desired Skills:
(Knowledge and Experience Required)

• Must possess Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• New York license
• Salary commensurate with experience;
• Assistant General Counsel has a minimum of 5 years of experience working on general litigation matters
• Associate G! eneral Counsel requires a minimum of 10 years of experience working on ! general litigation matters
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Legal analytical ability
• Professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer/client focus
• Expertise in handling all aspects of litigation practice, including depositions, written discovery, arbitration/mediation, trial and appeal.
• Proven ability and willingness to handle various types of cases and job duties as assigned.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, and to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
