Senior Computer Forensic Supervisor

Description: New York District Attorney's Office is currently seeking to employ Senior Computer Forensic Supervisor right now, this job will be presented in New York. The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a Senior Computer Forensic Supervisor in its Cyber-Crime & Identi! ty Theft Bureau. The Cyber-Crime & Identity Theft Bureau investigates and prosecutes identity theft and high technology crimes committed in New York County. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in the planning and execution of physical search warrants for electronic evidence
Liaise with prosecutors, law enforcement personnel, analysis and trial preparation assistants regarding digital forensic requests for analysis
Manage case assignments, training and other administrative duties
Supervise computer forensics staff and enforce forensics standards, policies and procedures
Perform related duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience performing and/or supervising computer forensic/mobile device examinations and acquisitions for legal proceedings
Bachelor's degree in Forensic Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related computer science
Ability to ! write comprehensive forensic analysis reports and present fore! nsic findings in a clear and concise manner
Possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a vendor neutral computer forensic certification, such as: CFCE; CCE (IACIS); GFCE or GCFA (SANS); BCERT (NCFI)
Possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain vendor specific computer forensic certification, such as: ACE; or EnCE
Possess a thorough understanding of forensic methodologies and best practices regarding chain of custody procedures, digital evidence handling, and legal authority to conduct forensic searches
Familiarity with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating and respective file systems
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work in fast faced environment
Possess a valid NYS Driver's License
Preferred:
Experience testifying in NYS/Federal courts as an expert witness in the digital evidence field
Experience in litigation support/e-Discovery matters!
Law Enforcement investigative experience highly preferred
