The Opportunity
Responsible for managing an assigned portfolio for open or non-performing assets, mitigating loss situations and reducing potential losses to the Bank.
Primary Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for supporting the foreclosure document execution process. This involves managing a high volume of! time sensitive incoming documents from inception to signature! . Portfolio is made up of a wide range of documents used by many attorney firms across all States.
Responsibilities include:
- Confirming the accuracy of each and every stated fact contained in each document
- Confirming all financial figures and calculations
- Working with various attorney firm contacts to facilitate corrections or clarifications as needed
- Produces backup documentation (system screen images, mortgage origination document images, etc.) to support each piece of information contained in the affidavit
- Coordinates obtaining signature from the designated Banking Officer assigned to the document
- Works with various Banking Officers to resolve any questions or concerns related to the document content or accuracy
Associate's degree or in lieu of degree two years relevant work experience
Minimum two years of relevant administrative/clerical! , customer service, legal document processing or collections/foreclosure experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Ideal Qualifications Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Bilingual
Basic understanding of the bank's general operations and systemic functionality
Understanding of local / state laws and regulations governing foreclosure
Demonstrated ability to provide direction and lead others
Motivated, team player with a positive and friendly attitude
