Description: MLA Global is currently interviewing Bankruptcy Paralegal right now, this vacancy will be situated in New York. Inside Edge Legal, an affiliate of Major, Lindsey & Africa, is currently seeking a Senior Paralegal for our AmLaw client. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of experience in bankruptcy. Candidates will als! o be responsible for supervising a small team of legal assistants, participating in both training and performance management.
Candidates must have experience with e-filing and Pacer and must know how to Blue-book and cite check (testing will be required).
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of the financial restructuring practive
- Manage large scale document production & document management
- Prepare for depositions, hearings & client conferences
- Review/monitor docket reports using ECF/PACER
- File pleadings using the ECF system
- Trial Preparation
- Darft letters to clients, vendors and other counsel
- Coordinate with the Managing Attorney's Office regardign document filings with the -US Bankruptcy Court
