Judge Healthcare is actively seeking an RN for an opportunity to serve as a Clinical Quality Analyst in the NY, NY area.
Must be able to investigate quality of care cases and cli! nical complaint investigations, oversight and audit of delegated vendors, review and update policies and procedures.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing, conducting, and analyzing quality studies according to criteria developed by management, external review organizations, and other regulatory agencies.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES: Conducts provider on-site audits researching provider clinical quality issues. Develops and monitors corrective actions. Completes quarterly progress/performance reports. Maintains hospital quality database via requests for information and questionnaires. Generates scorecards for each hospital. Provides feedback to practitioners on performance.
SKILLS: Requires oral and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, PC skills, and research and analytical skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires an RN and 2-3 years clinical experience as well as ! managed care experience, or any combination of education and e! xperience, which would provide an equivalent background. BSN preferred. Travel required.
