For detail informations about this job opportunity please read the description below. Seeking a Case Manager for a Midtown Manhattan law firm. This is a permanent opportunity. The Case Manager will report to the Manager of Litigation Services and will have a diverse variety of respon! sibilities including, but not limited to:
Performing the full range of paralegal functions from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial proceedings and case closure
Delegating and supervising work assignments to paralegals, including leadership and coordination of the paralegal trial team
Drafting, ediing, proofreading etc., under the supervision of an attorney
Assisting with organization of databases, imaging systems and other computer-based technology
Obtaining services from outside contractors, including court reporters, research services and exhibit preparation services
Travel, as required by the Practice, and/or client
Skills Required:
Strong analytical and research skills
Experience preparing for and attending trials in Federal District Courts
Experience with e-discovery management and related databases
Knowledge of MS Office applications
