Description
Primary job responsibilities include processing and posting various types of items to record keeping systems, as well reconciling it! ems to cash positions. S/he will process tax withholding adjustments, allocation of income distributions, sales proceeds and withholding amounts in accordance with U.S. tax laws and account structure type and tax certification of each beneficial owner. S/he will respond to client and Relationship Management inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. S/he will assist the management team by researching, gathering and consolidating information that may be needed to support audits, inquiries from regulators, internal tax attorneys and operations control.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will possess a BA/BS degree and the equivalent of 0-2 years of industry experience. Working knowledge of Taxation with the desire to learn Tax regulations and regulatory changes. Ability to accurately reconcile accounts to position and money balances. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products (i.e. Word, Excel and Access). The candidate must have strong writ! ten and verbal communication skills to interact with managemen! t, clients and regulators and must possess strong analytical skills. Must be able to work as an integral member of a team for the overall benefit of the team and regulatory compliance. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks in compressed timeframe, with extended working hours during seasonal volume peaks. Must be detail oriented and well organized. Customer service orientation is a must.
