The advisory board of Associated Renewable is a collection of individuals who bring unique expertise to complement the knowledge and skills of the management team and the board of directors.
THE POSITION
=============
The firm is seeking a securities lawyer to provide legal guidance to the company in securities matters that is independent from its own securities counsel. The position involves providing legal advice, counsel and services in the areas of corporate, securities, corporate governance, executive compensation, finance, credit activities and administrative services in the area of corporate governance.
REQUIREMENTS
=============
• Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Licensed member of the bar, in good standing in one or more US jurisdictions.
• 6+ yearsÂ' experience either with a law firm or in an in-house situation.
• Exp! ert Knowledge of securities law and financial markets
! • Proven experience in contract negotiations, problem solving and management of risks.
• Proven experience in completing complex transactions
• Commitment to professionalism
• Strong work ethic and high professional and ethical standards
TIME COMMITMENT
================
The advisory board position has no set weekly time commitments; however the advisor should be available for calls, occasional meetings and general advice requests from senior and executive management.
