The Manager Expense Management, Purchasing responsibilities will include:

  • Identify Procurement process enhancements and greater efficiencies, improvement opportunities (including Fedex and Telecommunications; i.e.: cost savings opportunities, productivity improvement, etc.); develop analytical tools, metrics and scorecards to measure successes.
  • Proactively maintain effective working relationships with existing vendors and internal cont! acts; issue RFPs to ensure best-in-class servicing and prices;! negotiate contracts and terms with new vendors.
  • Participate in SPM (Supplier Performance Management) surveys in order to evaluate vendors.
  • Enter Agreements and Contracts into Emptoris Contract Management System (CMS) and obtain online approval by Directors, VPs and/or other Executives.
  • Review and process Capital Requests for CLS to ensure appropriate approvals received and validate expenditures against approved budget; forward Capital Requests to Director and CFO for approval.
  • Create purchase orders for non stock items, low value asset items, print and blanket orders.
  • Approve purchase orders with a value up to $50K; approve vendor invoices with a value up to $50K for processing and payment by A/P.
  • Stamp, code and obtain approvals on vendor invoices for Capital purchases for A/P processing (3-way match).
  • Interact with vendors, requesters and end users throughout the procurement process.
  • Closely align wi! th GSS Procurement to process and track CLS orders and expedite when necessary.
  • Closely align with GSS A/P to determine status of ordered items and processing of invoices.
  • Develop and maintain Purchasing Department's Policies and Procedures.
  • Advise and assist CLS employees with purchasing procedures and equipment requests.
  • Develop master files, tracking sheets and template forms; test functionality before implementing.
  • Assist in maintaining goals and objectives for the Purchasing Department.
Qualifications:
Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree + CPM (Ceritified Purchasing Manager) Certification

Experience, Knowledge and Tools
Minimium Experience: 3-5 Years Purchasing Experience

Preferred Experience (includes minimum experience): 4-6 Years Purchasing Experience; FP&A or Analytical experience

Minimum Kno! wledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoin! t and Outlook). Procurement PO System.

Preferred Knowledge (includes minimum knowledge): Knowledge of Emptoris (Contract Management System) and JDEdwards OneWorld Procurement System.
