This leading law firm is seeking a litigation attorney to work on mortgage foreclosure cases involving defense of lender liability issues. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience with the mortgage lending industry, foreclosures and/or claims of predatory lending, and/or at least 3-5 years of strong commercial litigation experience.
Addtional experience:
Taking or defending depositions.
Appearances in New York state court.
Strong brief writing skills.
NYS Bar Admission.
Experience handling Chapter 7, 11 or 13 bankruptcy litigation cases helpful.
This is a
non-partnership track position on a contract-to-hire basis at $60.00 hour, immediate perm hire may be considered at $130K.
