The IntraLinks Account Executive thrives in a fast paced environment and is accountable for closing new customers every month. The Account Executive enjoys prospecting d! aily and is skilled at qualifying new customer leads, capable of challenging a prospects existing business practices, introducing the IntraLinks service, conducting deep discovery and mapping customer business pain to the IntraLinks solutions. This is a quota carrying direct sales position with the business being conducted via phone and internet communication.

A b out the Team

The Inside Sales organization builds relationships and business in the high-growth SaaS space with investment bankers, corporate attorneys, private equity, and corporate development executives (M&A). IntraLinks is a sales driven organization that provides the tools, training, and internal support for success.

Responsibilities

Develop a thorough understanding of IntraLinks’ offerings.
Hunt for new business daily through a combination of lead follow up and target account prospecting.
Actively maintain a sales pipeline with documented activity in accordance w! ith IntraLinks processes and methodologies, using SalesForce.c! om.
Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue.
Conduct thorough discovery, qualify need and prove the value of IntraLinks solutions to address those needs.
Challenge prospects existing business processes and educate on new technologies to address legacy business pains.
Understanding of key buying personas and ability to discuss relevant business challenges for each.
Manage qualified opportunities through the close cycle
Achieve or exceed assigned monthly/annual sales quotas
Build long-term relationships by meeting or exceeding customer expectations for future sales

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
2-5 years of inside/outside sales experience
Ability to successfully prospect, influence and close sales deals over the phone.
CRM experience, preferably SalesForce.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
Experience with Micro! soft Office and web-based technologies.

Desired Qualifications

Preference given to candidates with experience selling software services and comfortable with the SaaS business model.
Familiarity with Sandler selling concepts.
Continuously strive to improve sales effectiveness and business acumen.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and driven.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
