In 2001, Fiduciary Trust joined forces with Franklin Resources, Inc., a global investment management company operating as Franklin Templeton Investments. The acquisition presented both companies with an opportunity to expand and enhance their resources, services and global presence by combining complementary areas of expertise.

Fiduciary Trust is currently looking for a Trust Administrator to join the team.

Responsibilities include:
Work directly with a Trust Officer to administer trust accounts while remaining current on relevant laws, issues and topics.

Perform and coordinate efforts to independently respond, consistent with controlling trust instruments, to var! ious client requests for items such as wire transfers, discret! ionary principal payments, currency transactions, bill paying, deliveries/receives, gifts & contributions, acquisitions and sales.

Ensure that all transactions are in compliance with the trust agreement, state laws, and the Trust Investment Operations Manual (TIOM).

May act as a point of contact for client and intermediaries, including accountants, attorneys, and other trusted advisors.

Coordinate with tax department concerning tax issues arising during the course of the trust administration process.

Review daily overdraft report to determine how to cure income overdrafts. Coordinate with Portfolio Manager to raise cash to cure principal overdrafts.

Coordinate all aspects of trust terminations in coordination with the Trust Counsel, Investment Department, and Tax Department.

Analyze relevant documents required for the new account opening process. Review and discuss account opening with Trust Officer to determine proper a! dministration of account.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree required.

At least 3 years of previous Trust Administration experience.

Knowledge of Personal Trust Law and Administration.

Knowledge of Global Plus or similar accounting systems desirable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.

Ability to adhere/respond to established timeframes and deadlines.

Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.

Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
