Responsible for managing all aspects of Xylemâs Global Anti-Corruption Program and compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Anti-bribery Law, and other national ant! i-bribery laws and regulations.

Supervises a paralegal and is responsible for Xylemâs global due diligence program reviewing potential third parties and working with Value Center Counsel on program implementation and risk mitigation.
·
Provides advice and guidance to Xylem Finance and Audit Teams on controls, risk mitigation plans and the performance of Anti-Corruption Audits.
·
Manages corporate-wide programs to establish and maintain policies and procedures including conducting internal compliance reviews of proposed transactions, managing regulatory requirements, ensuring proper record-keeping and reporting, and related compliance functions.
Reviews and approves all policies and procedures concerning anti-bribery, special trade control, and anti-boycott compliance.

Designs, develops and manages corporate-wide programs to strengthen compliance processes such as automation tools for ! areas of responsibility.

Assists the Inte! rnal Auditor to verify compliance with U.S. and other national laws and regulations regarding corruption.
·
Manages investigations of potential violations of U.S. or other national laws and regulations dealing with corruption, including development, approval, and verification of corrective action plans and implementation.
Prepares and coordinates any disclosures or other interactions with government authorities.
·
Serves as Xylemâs primary interface with the U.S. government on anti-bribery compliance matters, including with the U.S. Departments of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Serves as Xylemâs representative to relevant trade associations and industry groups dealing with anti-bribery matters.
·
Performs special projects and other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.

This position will provide the opportunity to! develop into the role of Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.
Required Experience:
·
Minimum of ten years of experience practicing law of which three years have focused on anti-corruption matters.
·
Education Level Required:
JD from a top ranked law school.
·
Knowledge Required:
Must have a thorough knowledge of: (1) the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; the UK Anti-Bribery Law, and other international anti-corruption laws; and (2) best practices for compliance programs.
·
Other Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of U.S. government organizations and processes affecting compliance responsibilities, particularly in the U.S. Departments of Justice, Treasury, Commerce, and State.
Must have understanding of international business.
Must be willing to travel 25% of the time to conduct investigations and/or training.
