Description:
The New York office of a major law firm is seeking a highly qualified Corporate Paralegal to join their team. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of paralegal experience at a law firm.
Responsibilities include editing, proofreading and distributing draft documents, data management, creating closing lists and memoranda from deal documents, and the management of document intensive and time sensitive closings. Additional responsibilities include creating entities under Delaware and New York law, preparing corporate minutes, working with service companies to obtain good standings, corporate searches, and assisting with other services and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
B.S. / B.A. degree (computer science or programming degree a plus)
5 - 7 years of law firm experience
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Adobe
Must take initiative and be a self-starter
Successful ca! ndidates will be strong team players, possess excellent organi! zational skills and have the ability to manage paralegal matters independently.
