The primary function of the DLD Team is to ensure loans active in foreclosure and bankruptcy are serviced in accordance to applicable laws, regulations and! investor requirements. This challenging and rewarding position involves management of vendors responsible for ensuring compliance with investor, insurer and state level default timelines.
Job Functions:
Working closely with outsource vendors and bankruptcy attorneys to assist with bankruptcy payment application and reconciliation.
Assisting in gathering and analyzing information related to bankruptcy adversary and bankruptcy cramdown actions.
Participating in efforts to improve accuracy, operating efficiency, and expense reduction within the department.
Communicating with outsource vendors, PHH management and team players from other areas of servicing regarding loans in bankruptcy.
Working with management to resolve issues and make business decisions.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years mortgage banking or equivalent work experience with, bankruptcy or mortgage ser! vicing is required.
Must be self-motivated and well o! rganized. The ability to multi-task and communicate well with other departments as well as work as part of a team is required.
Strong communication and problem solving skills are a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and LPS is preferred.
Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are also needed.
