We currently have an opening for a Paralegal in our company head! quarters located in New York City. Some of the functions of the position include:
Assist in the defense of premises liability, labor law, and property damage cases by performing substantive legal work under the supervision and direction of staff attorneys.
Heavy client contact to obtain information and documentation necessary to respond to discovery demands.
Draft, type and assemble discovery responses, discovery demands, defendantÂ's bill of particulars, third party complaints, expert disclosures and requests to charge.
Render additional paralegal support necessary to assist in the preparation of cases for trial.
Requirements:
- Paralegal degree or certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent computer skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and in inputting and updating information in a legal data base.
- Ability to handle high volume and keep an accurate diary.
