Epiq eDiscovery Solutions is recruiting for both our midtown New York City and Phoenix, Arizona locations for a Director, Client Services who will serve as the primary leader in executing the following: 1) successfully manage assigned client relationships, 2) project management oversight and coordination and 3) internal team leadership and development. The successful candidate must have the team leadership and p! rofessional background in the electronic discovery industry to successfully manage a team of multiple Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Serves as a high-level liaison with key client representatives with the goal of owning the total service delivery relationship.

The Client Services Director ensures overall satisfaction through the coordination and execution of all client deliverables.

Works with clients to establish best practices which meet client needs and address any prioritization issues that may arise across projects.

Provides managerial and strategic guidance to the development of Epiq's best practices for Client Services as well as cross-functionally with eDiscovery business units.

Provide substantive oversight to client-specific projects, managed on a day-to-day basis by project managers.

Creates project forecasts and work schedules ! to be implemented by project managers.

Ensures that client and! project requirements are being met by meeting on a regular basis with project teams.

Ensures that new team members are appropriately on-boarded and briefed on project requirements.

Consistently delivers proactive communication with clients and serves as point of escalation when necessary.

Provides team leadership to professionally develop and motivate staff members and allows them to assume additional responsibilities and growth opportunities within the organization.

Instills confidence with the client and serves as the public face of Epiq’s high-quality service delivery offering.

Manages and reports to clients on budget and financial status.

Job Requirements :
Required Qualifications & Characteristics

A deep understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry which is typically a result of at least 7 years in management positions with law firms, corporate legal departments or eDiscover! y service providers.

Proven leadership and staff development skills which help to motivate staff members and provide professional growth allowing them to assume additional responsibilities.

Demonstrated success in the management of multiple simultaneous projects.

Oral and written communication skills which provide a strong and confident executive presence.

Excellent client relationship skills which include the able to proactively manage client expectations, recognize client needs and adapt company capabilities to consistently meet client requirements.

A solid understanding of database design and management, data processing activities and legal document review requirements.

Demonstrated ability in each of the following areas: ensure effective control of all aspects of a project from initial planning through final production; direct multiple project teams serving numerous clients while ensuring the completion of all! work; oversee development of project plans; balance overall client req! uirements; and review financial and billing information in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

We are seeking a superior candidate for this unique role. As a result, we require the following background in candidates selected for this opportunity:

A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced business or technology degree;

A minimum of five years consulting, litigation support or paralegal experience in a top-tier law firm or consulting firm;

Project client service and team leadership experience with an e-Discovery professional services firm.
