Staff Attorney

Description: GCC Consulting is hiring Staff Attorney right now, this occupation will be settled in New York. For complete informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. The candidate will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and the Director of Compliance. Will handle a variety of legal matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, such as NDAs, vendor agreements, leases and reviewing SEC filings, press releases, and other matters. Serve as a liaison between senior management and the Board of Directors and related Committees of the Board, including communications and preparation of reports and other documentation for Board review. Attend Board and Committee meetings with an ability to keep corporate minutes. Work on special projects from time to time. Interact with senior management on a daily basis.
The candidate should have a J.D. degree and a genuine interest in the areas of corporate/contracts law. Must have 3-5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house environment. Should have proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general MS Office applications.
