POSITION: Plant Manager LOCATION: Utica NY Area (1 hour outside of Syracuse) SALARY: 90-115K DEGREE: Preferred EXPERIENCE: 10+ Years RELOCATION: Available

• Bachelor degree or higher recommended
• 10+ years of managing experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Effective project leadership skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and -knowledge of how to implement solutions
• Excellent business management skills, including analysis and strategic decision making.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to build trust within the organization and establish a collaborative approach towards achieving results
• Must have good technical knowledge of production machinery and product formulation
• Must have experience working with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, FDA, etc.

Main Responsibilities Daily and strategic planning which includes aligning employee performance to insure a clean and sanitary product to our customers. Coordinate with department personnel and managers any concerns of Quality, Safety, and Operations. Insure the profitability of all plant operations according to budget.

Scope of Responsibilities 1. Management of personnel resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. 2. Judgment and decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. 3. Knowledge of planning, purchasing, as related to a manufacturing facility. 4. Knowledge in the area of cost and finance. 5. Knowledge of MRP, ERP, MPS, etc. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 7. Review and assure agreed upon service levels 8. Strong Project Management skills
