File & Serve can be used for e-filing and e-service of court documents with courts accepting e-filing with File & Serve.

File & Serve can also be used for online document exchange amongst counsel and court staff (e-service), even when a court is not officially accepting documents electronically. There are approximately 4.2 million cases online with File & Serve, with new cases added each day and over 130,000 users (law firm and court users) of File & Serve across the country.

File & Serve is currently looking to hire a sales professional to sell File &Serve's e-Service into large, complex litigations. The Sales Representative is tasked with developing the e-service market through targeted sales efforts to attorneys involved in large complex, multi-district litigations. The Sales Rep will develop and grow a pipeline of new business, develop relationships with key attorneys and judges to advocate for e-service in those cases, attend court status conferences and industry events to promote the solution and build awareness of its benefits. The Sales Rep will use a CRM to track sales opportunities from lead to close and work closely with other teams to ensure deals are implemented timely and that the system is being used by the parties to exchange all documents.

Accountabilities

  • New client prospecting, via phone and in-person
  • Establishing strong client relationships with lead counsel in each case
  • Providing client demos and training on e-service product in person and via webinars
  • Negotiating pricing and custom proposals across multiple firms and decision makers for a single deal
  • Attending and presenting at conferences and seminars to speak about e-service and value proposition, including demos
  • Building and managing new business pipeline of deals from lead to close, including revenue forecasting for 30, 60, 90 days
  • Identifying product needs for each deal
  • Working with other internal File & Serve departments to implement deals and gather necessary data for implementation (service lists, feature needs, start dates, procedural requirements)
  • Working with judges and other court members on deals, including presentations, demos, trainings and hearing attendance to discuss and promote e-service
  • Working with attorneys to create Case Management Orders and Stipulations to approve the use of e-service in litigations.
  • Using CRM, sharepoint and other web-based and Microsoft Office products with high levels of success

Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience successfully selling services to clients.
  • Demonstrable experience selling to senior level executives (attorneys, partners, judges)
  • Has highly effective networking skills
  • Performs as a self-starter in developing new business in new products/offerings
  • Possess an understanding of the civil litigation process and attorney decision-making is a plus.
  • Experience with using CRM or other similar sales management tools. i.e. Siebel CRM experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Polished public speaker
  • Ability and willingness to perform and excel in an unstructured and fast-changing environment
  • Ability to work successfully across multiple teams within complex organizational structure(s).
  • Demonstrates a collaborative approach to account management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very detail-oriented and quick learner.
  • Must be able to travel nationally and frequently
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of large group
  • Required to travel 50-75% (Air and ground -nationally)
  • Required to attend conferences and seminars
  • Required to carry items like laptops and collateral and be able to setup seminars booth/exhibit stands up to 25 pounds
