P & C claims and WC claims experienced applicants ONLY, no medical billing or hospital claims need to apply. Applied Epic experience required.
Claims associate: Provide clients with claims expertise and guidance on P & C claims and Workers Comp claims from initial filing through resolution. Communicate with adjustors, clients and the account managers on status of claims. Assist in filing claims in the system and with the carriers, reporting to the clients on open claims, and knowledge of claims and policies. Communicating claims details to clients with reporting and analysis.
In addition to being detail oriented, organized and have good communication skills, our ideal candidate would reside on the East Coast and have experience with processing and following up on claims.
Skills: Applied Epic system required, insurance industry knowledge or license a plus, understand coverage and terminology.
Requirements:
- Property and Casualty Insurance Claims and/or Workers Compensation claims experience
- Applied EPIC database knowledge: do not apply without Epic experience
- Microsoft software: Excel, word, power point
