Job Description
The key responsibilities include:
- Provide intensive calibration and basic preventative maintenance, repair, and installation services at customer locations in accordance with the relevant quality management systems
- Travel to customer locations both inside and outside the service areas
- Record all service activities that follow the relevant service procedures
- In charge of administrative work including but are not limited to, timely submission of "paperwork" (both electronic and hard copy), upkeep of an active call queue, purchase orders for all on-demand service assignments, assistance with service contract renewal, and updating client data to ensure database accuracy
- Encourage the purchase of further product lines (systems, accessories, and services)
- Actively produce qualified sales leads through the use of established methods
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering
- Knowledge of and experience repairing Electro-mechanical systems
- At least 2 years of directly related experience in a service / preventative maintenance or technical / mechanical repair environment
- Ability to work independently and manage diverse customer situations
- Good Communication skills and Interpersonal skills
- Able to travel across the client's site
