To complement its growing team, Verity is on the hunt for an Accounts Receivable Accountant. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Accounting and own Verity's Accounts Receivable function. You will be in a client facing role, primarily being responsible for contacting our customers to ensure our accounts stay on track. You will act as an internal ally to our thriving Sales Team to ensure all our numbers are in order. We're looking to you to ensure Verity delivers timely and accurate financial data whilst we expand our operations from Switzerland into the United States.

The system is used by industry leaders around the world, including DSV, Maersk, and Ingka, Sweden's most recognized furniture retailer.

What you'll do:
- Manage the company's entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer account details and work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment disputes.
- Perform collections activities for overdue accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end closing processes.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts receivable and revenue recognition functions.
What you bring:
- Approx. 5 years of experience in Accounting
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel is essential.
- Good communication skills (written, spoken) in both English & German
- High attention to detail, deadline-oriented and an eagle eye for accuracy
- Very good team player with a pro-active mindset
- It's a bonus if you have experience with an international accounting standard like IFRS or US GAAP
