Small civil litigation firm seeks entry level litigation associate admitted in NY (NJ a plus) to handle caseload of defense and plaintiff's matters.
- Should have an ability to comprehend complex matters and identify the laws that are applicable to them
- Should be able to demonstrate exceptional organization and time management skills
- Should have a keen eye for detail coupled with good researching ability
- Should possess a thorough knowledge of the legal procedures and should remain updated with the current developments
- Should be proficient in computers and should be able to maintain, update and modify the documents
- Should have persuasive communication skills that will help in building trust and broadening the client base
**Associate will handle court appearances on LI, NYC and upstate NY
The attorney must have exceptional legal research and writing skills, significant verbal communication capabilities, must be a selfâ€starter and must have the ability to both work on a team and complete projects independently.
Salary is dependent on experience.
