These intercompany transactions are becoming increasingly frequent as multinational enterprises continue to globalize their operations. Transfer pricing has emerged as a critical success factor in corporate strategic planning and executive decision-making. Economic Consultant / Senior Economic Consultant:Professional Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an Economic Consultant / Senior Economic Consultant (“Consultantâ€) for our New York Transfer Pricing Group to work in a team/project-based environment. Our Consultants work with Ph.D. economists, MBAs, attorneys, and tax specialists to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing issues faced by multinational enterprises in a wide variety of industries. Consultants generally assist with a variety of projects, including those relating to transfer pricing planning, dispute avoidance and resolution, business model optimization, intellectual property migration, licensing and royalty arrangem! ents, headquarters cost allocation, intercompany debt pricing, and global transfer pricing documentation. In particular, we are currently seeking a Consultant who will focus primarily on financial transactions transfer pricing projects analysing intercompany funding, guarantee, cash pooling and other similar financing arrangements arising out of companies’ normal working capital needs, mergers and acquisitions, as well as other restructuring changes. Responsibilities include devising and performing industry research and financial analysis of companies, performing economic modelling, credit risk analyses, financial statement analyses, fixed income valuation, derivative and option pricing, communicating with clients to obtain factual and financial data, as well as drafting reports in support of our findings. Additional responsibilities include assisting with client marketing efforts, maintaining project files, and mentoring and training new Economic Consultants
Requires! BS Degree â€' Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative di! scipline.. Master's degree a plus.-
Requires a minimum of 3years of relevant experience in a combination of fixed income valuation, derivative valuation & option pricing, credit risk analysis, corporate finance, financial statement analysis.
Strong analytical abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to take complex financial concepts and analyses and clearly explain them in written form.
Requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, S&P CreditModel, LoanConnector or other similar tools.
The ability to work well in team-based environments.
Attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects at the same time, and a willingness to take ownership over assigned tasks.
