The Account Executive (AE) will be primarily responsible for working closely with glob! al shopper marketing account management team to plan, coordinate and manage development of global shopper marketing toolkits for a major health and wellness CPG client. The AE will also serve as a pivotal member of the team to ensure we all work together in an efficient, smart and collaborative manner with an eye towards growth and adding value to our clientâs business every day.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Lead and maintain internal and client weekly status reports, status meetings and all timelines to track the progress of all project details on a day-to-day basis
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all agency systems, production processes and resources
Work closely with Account Director and Account Supervisor to review all agency work prior to submitting to client for review and secure all necessary client approvals
Communicate all creative requests! and client feedback in a clear, concise and timely manner to ! creative and production teams
Lead development and manage delivery of all final artwork and print-ready creative files by working closely with internal studio teams and/or 3 rd party production vendors
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Work closely with Account Director, Account Supervisor and Executive Group Director to lead project work streams and communications from creative briefing through to production, while maintaining a can-do, positive team attitude, especially when issues and challenges arise
Contribute to team effort by assisting co-workers, sharing learningâs, participating in internal meetings, preparing reports, and improving internal processes
Assist with preparing client presentations, meeting reports and marketing trend summaries including collecting, summarizing and presenting information and trends in a concise and professional manner
Develop in-depth understanding of clientsâ businesses, global shopper marketing ! trends, and POS/Shopper innovations through a combination of reading trade publications, online research, industry news, competitive data, store visits, etc., and share findings
Be the âgo-toâ team member with in-depth knowledge all project deliverables, details, deadlines, and next steps including identifying potential issues before they become big problems, and/or re-prioritizing tasks and updating schedules when assignments evolve or fall behind
Ability to support the team by being a sound judge of creative work and able to help guide its development based on the creative brief, communication objectives, and brand claims.
PROMOTIONAL EXECUTION
Possess a solid understanding of shopper marketing tactics and consumer promotions including sweepstakes/ contest rules, registration, execution, fulfillment services, coupon offers, and point of sale materials.
FISCAL MANAGEMENT
Establish estimates and manage on-going fisca! l reporting of all projects
Develop a deep understanding and w! orking knowledge of agency and client financial systems and processes
On-going fiscal management and reporting including opening and maintaining job numbers, estimate development, P.O.âs & rate cards, invoices, and budget status reports
ACCOUNT GROUP COORDINATION AND SUPPORT
Provide general support to the Account Group such as coordinating meeting arrangements (internal & external), travel arrangements, file management and organization, expense preparation, general correspondence, package delivery and handling.
Timely responsiveness to internal and external requests as needed to help keep the team organized and operating as efficiently and effectively as possible
Skills/Requirements
The most important parameters by which successful performance will be judged are:
Strong attention to detail and follow-through combined with a can-do team attitude and passion to excel
Ability and motivation to learn, pro! blem solve, and work independently as needed
Thorough understanding and effective project management of the creative development process from initial briefings, internal and client reviews, feedback process, through to final release of artwork files
Strong written and verbal communication skill to confidently interact with clients, internal account management and creative teams, and other stakeholders
Strong computer skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years account and/or agency project management experience
Possess a good understanding of brand management, shopper marketing, and consumer promotions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven project management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced, changing environment
