In addition to providing general assistance to the attorneys in the Real Estate group! , the Real Estate Paralegal's responsibilities include the following:
Atleast 1-2 years of general commercial real estate paralegal experience primarily in connection with commercial sale/purchase and financing transactions including:
Reviewing title reports and surveys, obtaining payoff statements, and clearing title issues Calculating and reviewing closing figures Coordinating closings with all applicable parties Preparing basic closing documents including closing agenda/checklists, transfer tax forms, conveyancing forms, closing statements, etc. Post-closing document control, UCCs, satisfactions Preparing closing binders Preparing lease review and digests
