Chief Financial Officer

Location: New York, New York

Description: Haddad Brands is hiring Chief Financial Officer right now, this position will be placed in New York. For complete informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Principal job functions :

• Act as company liaison to banks, attorneys and accountants.

o For our banking relationships, negotiate annual credit needs, secure addi! tional funding for special projects during the year, keep bank informed on a regular basis as to the company's activities and performance.
o Prepare annual projections, monthly compliance reports and annual compliance reports
o Meet with banks on a regular basis to insure relationships are maintained.
o Manage cash flow of all the companies on a daily basis. Know when to borrow and pay off bank debt and insure funds are available when needed.
o Legal matters... meet and correspond with our attorneys, both for general corporate, US Customs, personal and real estate matters. Since our company is very diversified, legal issues are varied so an ability to discuss and review various legal documents is a must.
o Act as main contact with our outside accounting firm, including final review of all audit and tax issues.

• Contract negotiations and reviews

o Generally all contracts come across my office for licensing agreements, insurance cont! racts and renewals (both health and all others), leases, and e! ffectively all other legal documents.

• Manage and administrate accounting department.

o The company has a relatively small accounting and human resources department which I manage on a daily basis. While we aren't responsible for daily activities of accounts receivable and inventory, like many companies, ultimately the accuracy and accountability of them do rest with us.
o Monitor and control all bank accounts on daily basis to make sure all are properly funded
o Review timeliness and accuracy of all licensing filings to insure that all filings are current and payments are current.
o Oversee or directly handle licensee audits
o Sometimes handle tax audits.
o Management and administer the company 401k plan.

• Handle all aspects of the company insurance

o Handle all claims (other than workers compensation)
o Manage the insurance policies ( i.e. handle all changes and correspond with our brokers about amendme! nts and coverages)
o Negotiate annual renewals
o Work with insurance company auditors on annual policy audits.
o Maintain all company related life insurance policies ( timeliness of payments, determine when and what to pay, review policies periodically)

• Personal items - being a family business, it is essential that the CFO be somewhat a jack of all trades in handling personal finances. This may include some tax advice, personal and life insurance advice, and personal financial planning. While deferring much of this to outside experts, the frequent questions to arise.

Required experience: 0 - 2 years
Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree
