Glens Falls, NY.
The Allstate Protection segment principally sells private passenger auto and homeowners insurance through agencies and directly through call centers and the internet. This segment includes an organization called Emerging Businesses and Encompass (EBE). The Emerging Businesses unit comprises Business Insurance (commercial products for small business owners), Consumer Household (products including motorcycle, boat, renters and condominium insurance policies), Allstate Dealer Services (insurance and non-insurance products sold primarily to auto dealers), Allstate Roadside Services (retail and wholesale roadside assistance products) and Ivantage (third party insurance agency). EBE carves out new ways to reach and serve through this broad! product suite that attracts customers who wish to bundle. As ! of year-end 2012 EBE earned over $5 billion in premium and continues to grow.

As an
Encompass Claims Service Specialist, you will play a vital role to ensure we deliver on our promise to help restore people
â
s lives after they
â
ve experienced a loss.
Each day you will be responsible for managing a steady volume of new first party casualty medical claims.
Most importantly, you will work with our customers to guide them through the claims process in a caring and professional manner.
You will handle every step from managing incoming calls and data entry, to filing reports and mail support.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED), plus one-three years of customer service experience in an office environment
Excellent customer service skills and a passion to help others
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
Excellent time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer, typing and grammar skills
