This company provides a wide range of services supporting sheriffs, judges, and probation and parole personnel in corrections, from cost-effective monitoring for nonviolent offenders and juveniles to specialized solutions designed for high-risk offenders such as gang members, domestic violence and sex offenders and other solutions tailored to their customers needs.

Position Summary:
Promote and complete the sale of assigned products. Based on your experience in the corrections/probation, law enforcement, and/or judicial sector, ideally having worked as a sheriff, a head of county or state probation, a head of ! a county jail or state prison, utilize significant and current! contacts to perform duties of a Territory Sales Executive for the Texas Territory
Location: Anywhere in NY/NJ/PA
Base Salary: $78k - $150k DOE
Commissions: 30% of Base
Territory Sales Manager Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage sales results for your territory as if operating own business, but also acting in the best interest of the company, and serve as the liaison between the company and new accounts and/or current strategic accounts in your territory.
- Develop winning sales strategies and direct activities to obtain new accounts.
- Develop an overall sales plan including new revenue acquisition goals and sales execution plan.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts.
- Identify and contact critical decision makers involved in the procurement process.
- Mine RFP and other opportunity sources to discover new sales opportunities.
- Visit current accounts to se! ll new or additional products and services, as well as obtain referrals.
- Attend trade conferences as requested and effectively present company product and services. Follow up on leads and contacts from these events.
Direct experience in criminal justice as a sheriff, a head of county or state probation, a head of a county jail or state prison etc. is required, as well as an understanding of the local, state and federal criminal legal system.
Knowledge of electronic monitoring industry is a plus.
Experience in sales of professional or relevant products/services with proven ability to be an effective canvasser and persuader, or demonstrated potential to be successful is a plus.
Customer service experience is a plus.
Ability to analyze sales data and draw valid conclusions.
Willingness and ability to travel.
Computer skills, including all MS Office suite programs.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelors Degree preferr! ed or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
